Finally. My maiden blog post on my very own personal blog.
So, why has it taken me the best part of 14 years to get this done?
I think the key reason for getting my own blog in place has been down to:
- Having the time to actually set up a good framework for a personal blog
- Getting stuck with coming up ideas about my personal blog and how to make the posts I write interesting to you – the reader
- Lack of discipline to write regular posts
- Being dyslexic and procrastinating to the extreme over my poor grammar and spelling – my English teacher would be proud!
Whilst all these things are true, one thing that being a scout for over 20 years has taught me is to have courage in all difficulties. Here I am – facing my fears head-on.
The key question you probably want to ask is what will be included in my personal blog. An excellent question! I guess the key to having a personal blog is to make it about me. More specifically, I want to share with you my key thoughts and opinions on a range of topics.
The key topics I will be writing about will cover:
- Scouting
- Consulting
- Salesforce
- Personal thoughts and opinions that I will call “Kris’ Thoughts Decompiled”
This list will grow with time to include other areas. But for now, I am going to keep my topics simple – otherwise this will take over my creativity at this early stage.
As I publish posts on my blog, I will be sharing these on my Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn accounts. Be sure to click on my social media links below if you want to follow me. I will be looking to respond to your questions and feedback in the comments section of each blog post. Be sure to drop a note to say “Hi” or “I woz ‘ere”.
If you have never met me before, check out my about page to find out more.
I think this blog post is a fairly good starting point – so onwards into the breach!
Until next time, stay safe and remember – drop me a comment below if you have any feedback. 🙂
